Welcome to YarnForSale (or Yarn4Sale).

We have updated our stock in the Close-out Yarns from Southwest Trading Company including Gianna and CraftRock, and  Vegas from the Vicki Howell Line.  All of these are on sale at significantly reduced prices  of $30 per bag of 10, so be sure to check those out.

We also still have some stock left in Stardust, the experimental version of Dream in Color's Starry yarn.  Stardust was a preliminary run of this yarn with a similar type of silvery thread and hand-dyed look as the Starry, but done in more limited colors.  We have the remainder of the run available for $22.00 per 100gm skein. (450 yds)

We now have many of our patterns available on Ravelry for immediate download including:

The Bella Capelet, designed by Beth Humphreys.  Originally designed at Lorysa's request for her senior prom, this stunning lace capelet has a retro-victorian era feel to it. Originally made in Jaggerspun lace-weight Zephyr, it can be made in any lace-weight yarn with a silky drape.

It is worked from the top down, in a simple feather and fan lace pattern. While there are increases following the charted pattern over the fist several rows, the increase in the circumference is achieved by using increasing the needle size as you work down the length. It also features a ruffled bottom edge and a ruffle at the neckline.  It is perfect for over that special event dress such as a Prom or Wedding. This capelet pattern has been one of our top selling patterns since it's introduction.

The  Yin Yang Tank and Tee, designed by our very own Beth Humphreys. This pattern offers a fun and wearable short sleeve tee and a tank that can be worn either on its own or as a vest over another piece.  Both pieces can be suitable for daytime or dressed up for an evening out. The pattern has been featured as an editor's pick in Knit N Style magazine.  Originally designed as a tank, this pattern has been re-written after many requests from customers who wanted it available in larger sizes and with a sleeve option.

The Mitered Magnificence Shawl: This beautiful shawl, designed by Beth Humphreys,  can be made in a single yarn or a combination of luxury yarns.  This is the perfect project for any novelty yarns you have in your stash, and is very effective using the 'Magic Ball' technique or using a yarn such as Prism's Stuff.

While looks like your typical triangular shawl, it is unique in that it is knit from the outside edge towards the center. You use decreases at the center point and outer edges to form the shape. This forms the unique miter pattern as you change yarns. The nice thing about this is that each row gets shorter as you work, so it seems to get faster as you near completion!
